WhatsApp on your Desktop/Laptop

Are you addicted to WhatsApp, and spend a long hours typing on the mobile...Ahh...!! that is tiresome.. How about installing WhatsApp on you PC. Yup you heard it right, we can install the WhatsApp on your Own Desktop/Laptop. However this is not a actual WahtsApp make for PCs, as till now WhatsApp has not created an application to be installed on a PC. So how can we do this...

Simple, there is an application called BlueStack, which is an App Player. That is, we can install/run applications which are normally on the Phones (Andriod, BBs).

You can download a copy from BLUESTACKS

So How to do this...

1) Download Bluestacks and install it on your system.
2) Upon installation, open BlueStack. You’d find a welcome screen showing the top 25 Apps.
3) You can click on My Apps, which will show application which are downloaded and are default.
4) Here you will also see an option to Search App. Click on the same and look for WhatsApp.
5) Select it and its done. Rest all would be same as your mobile phone i.e. it will download WhatsApp, and install it.
6) When you click on WhatsApp Icon this will launch WhatsApp and will ask for a mobile number so that it can be registered with.

Once done you are all ready to start a chat on your System. Have a great Chat Time...!!! :)

Is your System Running Too Slow..??

Is your system speed bugging you. Is it running too slow even though you have a good system configuration. Mostly this happens due to the the temp files which gets created, or due to the fragmentation in the Hard Disk or could be the fragmentation of registry, the unwanted entries in the same.

Follow the below instructions and this should improve the system performance.

1) Cleaning up the Temporary files and also the unwanted registry entries. If you search online you would find many tools for the same. My recommendation would be CCLEANER. A very good tool.

You can download the latest version from here.
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Run the tool and it should show you an option to run the cleaner, click on the same.

Once done then click on the Registry option and click on Scan for issues, and later click on Fix issues. As soon this is done you will see a good amount of performance difference.

2) Run the System Defragmentation. This is a tool from Windows and basically it just defragment the fragmented files, which increases the Read/Write ability to the Hard Disk.

Defragmentation in XP
Click on Start > Run and typ "Dfrg.msc" without quotes.
Select a volume and click on Defragment Disk

Defragmentation in Win 7
Click on Start and type Disk Defragmenter in the search
Select a volume and click on Defragment Disk

Defragmentation in Win 8
Click on Start and in search type "defragment"
In the settings you will find “Defragment Your Hard Drive” and click on it.
Select the Drive you want to defragment and click on Optimize.

3) Delete the empty folders/left over folders of uninstalled Application.

For this I found an apllication named RED (Remove Empty Directories.) When you run the tool it will scan the drive for all possible empty directories which is not linked to any applications. Cleaning this also improves the performance well.

Download link for RED

Thats it once you follow these three steps you would find a massive difference in the speed performance, I BET :) lolzz.. or may be.. not..(actually you will find a difference.)

How to Disable UAC (User Account Control)

This window I think many of us are aware of this popup when even you try to run an application on your System.

This was introduced in Windows Vista, and now is been part of OS there after. Many of us find this popup to be annoying. If not any , atleast ME.

SO how can we disable it. Very Simple. Follow the instructions given below if you are using a Windows 7/Windows 8/ Server 2008/ Server 2012.

1) Open the Windows Run window and type "msconfig" without quotes and hit ENTER.

2) In the System Configuration Window, click on Tools Tab, select Change UAC Settings and click on Launch.

3) In the User Account Control Settings Window, scroll the bar down to Never Notify.

Once done you would need a reboot, and All ready to Go.

How many users can you follow in Twitter

The other day I created a Twitter Account, and was wondering how many users can i follow on the single day. I checked the Twitter FAQ, and it was mentioned that Technically i can follow around 2000 people. Also on a Single day i can follow around 1000 Users. Once we reach 2000 then you might need more followers so that you can follow others.

When I read this I was like.. What the hell.. what if some one keep spamming, or keep on following users wont that be irritating. So I was like the twitter policy is not so good.

Thought of trying it myself.. I started following people. Finally reached 1000 and got a message that i have reached the Technical Limit. And i was like..ahahaha no one stopped me spamming or following 1000.

The next day when I logged into my Account I was.. Shocked to see a notice, an Agreement that I have tried to spam and sending out many requests. I accepted the agreement that will not repeat it again. When logged in to my surprise I had 0 Followers and 0 Following.

Wooowww.. Thats when I felt good, that even though their limit is 1000 however still if you spam with no reason you would be warned and stopped. So felt that Twitter Policies are actually Real Good.

So guys lets not follow with no reasons.. :D
